There are many different reasons someone may desire to get a mole removed, ranging from cosmetic motivations to medical reasons. At Plastic Surgery Group, we offer a mole removal procedure that will ensure the job is done correctly the first time around, leaving your underlying skin structures unharmed in a way that only plastic surgeons can accomplish. Learn more about our mole removal process below.
The mole removal process is a relatively quick procedure, requiring the patient to come into the Plastic Surgery Group offices for just one treatment. During the procedure, a local anesthetic is administered in the area the mole is located in to ensure the patient is comfortable and does not feel any pain during the process. If the mole is removed for medical purposes (outlined below), it will be immediately sent to a lab for testing.

Mole removal can make a huge difference in one’s appearance, especially in cases where an individual has several moles in an area of their body. Having a mole removed is a quick and painless in-office procedure.
